Alan W. Haussermann, D.D.S.

Dr. Alan Haussermann is a Champaign-Urbana native and an alum of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.  He graduated from Loyola School of Dentistry, Chicago, in 1972, and returned to his hometown, our unique university community to practice dentistry.  He and his father, Ford Haussermann, simultaneously practiced dentistry for 12 years.  His father was a dentist in Champaign from 1929 to 1984.  Dr. Haussermann continues to be dedicated to patients, employees and dentistry.  He remains an active member of the American Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and our state and local dental societies.  Over the years, he has served organized dentistry in many capacities.

Outside the dental office, Dr. Haussermann looks forward to travel with his wife, Clare, and family.  Over the years, Dr. Haussermann and Clare have visited all 50 U.S. states, 50 of the 59 U.S. National Parks, and all 7 continents!   Photography is a passion for both Dr. Haussermann and Clare, and the beautiful pictures displayed throughout the office and this website were taken by Clare during their travels.

Dr. Haussermann and Clare also enjoy spending quality time with their three children, their spouses, and seven grandchildren.  Their children and their families do not live in the area; but Dr. Haussermann and Clare arrange to see everyone regularly.
